what does it mean to be a part of
society?
there are no governors here. we know no one but your Creator has authority over you - but there are still many ways to be involved! everyone voluntarily takes on at least one role as a defining characteristic of their participation, and many take on more than one. is there a role you'd like to perform that you don't see listed here? reach out to us by email or stop by the next roundtable to share!
as the dynamic and creative expressions of our beautiful //society, we value stewardship, community priorities, and care for the Earth and everyone we share it with. we naturally resist any state or market involvement in the //side of things, as we know this always becomes a hindrance to our ability to create for and to serve //members. we are willing to hire off-license and in situations where we deem appropriate but that would typically be prevented by bureaucracy, and we only accept alternative payments as part of //transactions. we are always happy to help //efforts when possible, and we prioritize further investment in //structures over mainstream options.

as the living spirits of //society, we value respect, integrity and problem-solving in meeting the complex needs of a growing society. we remain open to learn and open of heart, happy to help //efforts and prioritizing our personal support of //projects&initiatives over mainstream options when and where possible. with strong convictions that there is Divine protection given to those of pure heart and loving intent. we are unafraid to work off-license & without license; as well as to accept alternative payment or contribute simply for the joy of doing meaningful work.

we are both the electrical spark that ignites //enthusiasm and the energizer bunny that keep it going; we value passionate rebellion with a purpose. we organise our forces to work towards //progress, not doing activism, but rather activation, turning people on for freedom, community and love. we are building and maintaining the network of every other participant group listed here: because we love every single member and believe in the ultimate //purpose - to make government irrelevant again.

as the volunteers who help //society run smoothly, we value the encouragement of group cohesion, developing seamless implementation structures and helping to think creatively to solve the problems that will inevitably come with //growth. our mission is to serve the fundamental principles of //society and the people who strive to fulfill them. we may work on projects independently, or create teams among ourselves to expedite reaching collaborative goals, but we always work toward unity and fluidity within //structures and //development.

as the glue that holds //society together, we value connection, de-escalation and conflict resolution. we are volunteer interlopers, going where we are requested to facilitate progressive discourse where situations are tricky and disagreements are difficult to work through. we aim to uphold the //value of problem solving, by eliminating the shaming and blaming of traditional criminal court proceedings and instead making use of nonviolent communication principles to respectfully bring about a solution that meets the needs of all involved parties. we are not admins or moderators, and we do not police each other's actions, as this would infringe on individuals' privacy and freedoms of consensual association.
